NEW GLARUS — On Thursday, October 8 at approximately 7:45 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team executed a residential warrant in the 600 block of 5th Avenue, Village of New Glarus. The search warrant was the result of an investigation led by Detectives following cyber-tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

The investigation into those cyber-tips identified media depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), commonly referred to as child pornography. As a result of the search warrant, detectives seized items of evidence that will be processed and reviewed.

At the time of this release no arrests have been made. Further updates will be provided when available. The New Glarus Police Department assisted at the residence.
