MONROE — The Green County Coroner’s Office has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 Crystal Vision Award, presented by the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin and received this award September 29.
This prestigious award is presented to individuals and organizations who exemplify extraordinary commitment to the gift of sight. Since 2007, the Crystal Vision Awards have honored those who go above and beyond to advance eye, organ, and tissue donation — champions who bring hope, healing, and renewed vision to countless lives.
Because of the dedication, compassion, and service of the Green County’s Coroner’s Office, lives have been transformed. In 2025 alone, donors from the Green County Coroner’s Office provided the gift of sight to an estimated eight recipients in Wisconsin, across the United States, and around the world.
Behind every number is a story — a person who can now see their loved ones again, a student who can continue their education, a grandparent who can watch a grandchild grow.
The Crystal Vision Award is more than recognition. It is a reflection of the leadership, compassion, and unwavering belief that every act of generosity can change the world.
