DARLINGTON — Samantha Jo Marie Metz, 27, Monroe, was transported by UW-Med Flight to the hospital for severe injuries sustained from a one-vehicle rollover after being ejected at 7:17 p.m. Sept. 10 on Lincicum Road, Town of Wayne. She was northbound on County D when she failed to negotiate a curve causing her to enter the ditch, roll multiple times and then came to a rest in a field. Her vehicle sustained severe damage. It was towed. South Wayne Fire, Browntown First and Green County EMS assisted. 

● Non-life threatening injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 5:29 p.m. Sept. 12 on East Platteville Avenue in Belmont. Jose H. Moncada-Rodriguez, 32, Belmont, was eastbound when his brakes failed causing him to rear-end a vehicle operated by Desiree M. Tschantz, 30, Platteville. Moncada-Rodriguez’s juvenile passenger was transported to Southwest Health Center. His 2001 Toyota sustained severe damage. It was towed. Tschantz’s 2014 Chevrolet sustained minor damage. Belmont Fire Department, Belmont EMS and Southwest Health EMS assisted.
