MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4:30 p.m. Monday at 8th Street and Wisconsin 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Anita K. Hicks, 45, Warren, Ill., hit a vehicle driven by Susan M. Konopacki, 48, Monroe. Konopacki complained of minor injuries and declined medical attention. Hicks was cited for driving too fast for conditions. The vehicles received minor damage.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of 17th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Benjamin E. Wilson, 20, Orangeville, collided with a vehicle driven by David S. Walsh, 60, Newton, S.C. Wilson was cited for driving too fast for conditions. The vehicles received moderate damage.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Monday at 6th Street and 22nd Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Ruth E. Salzwedel, 79, Monroe, and Jean A. Pick, 39, Monroe, collided at the intersection. The vehicles received moderate damage.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:30 a.m.. Saturday in the W5000 block of County KK. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jeremy A. Grigsby, 27, Brodhead, went into the ditch and overturned. Grigsby was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69 near Hefty Road in New Glarus township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Deondre A. Plunkett, 20, Freeport, left the road due to slippery conditions, went into a ditch, hit two trees and a fence. The vehicle received moderate damage.

No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident that took place at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the W9600 block of County Y in Jordan township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Amy R. Bechtolt, 27, Argyle, left the road and went into a ditch. Bechtolt later discovered the damage to the vehicle was in excess of $1,000, which made it a reportable crash. She reported the accident at about 12:30 p.m. Monday.
