Green County Sheriff

- One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday on County C near County N in Washington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Elizabeth B. Proctor, 16, New Glarus, failed to negotiate a curve due to ice and went into a ditch. Proctor had to be extricated by the Monticello Fire Department. She was transported to UW-Hospital for injuries. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

- No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday on County C near County N in Washington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Haylee B. Thoman, 18, Monticello, failed to negotiate a curve due to ice on the road and went into a ditch. The vehicle rolled and came to rest on the passenger side. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

- A vehicle driven by Sandra S. Hershberger, 52, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 69 near Hefty Road in Mount Pleasant township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- A vehicle driven by Mary P. Broger, 48, Madison, collided with a deer at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 near Valley View Road in New Glarus township. The vehicle received minor damage.

- A vehicle driven by Bruce E. Wuebben, 60, Elroy, Ill., collided with a deer at about 5 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 near County FF in Monroe township.

- Thomas J. Osilius, 48, Racine, collided with a deer at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11/81 near County G in Spring Grove township. The vehicle received minor damage.

- A vehicle driven by Dana K. Poad, 30, Brooklyn, collided with a deer at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 59 east of Forest Prairie Park Road in Sylvester township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- A vehicle driven by Angela S. Hoeper, 33, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 7 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 near Dean Lane in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday on County FF in Blanchard township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jeremy D. Schaefer, 30, Blanchardville, hit a patch of black ice on the road, went into a ditch and rolled over. A passenger in the vehicle, Mindie J. Kempfer, was taken to the Monroe Clinic Hospital by Blanchardville EMS. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Schaefer was cited for driving after suspension.

- One person was injured in a one-vehicle crash at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday on County F in Fayette township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Traci J. Edge, 24, Cuba City, hit some black ice and rolled over. Edge was treated at the scene. None of the three passengers in the vehicle sustained injuries.
