Monroe Police MONROE - Police were called at 7:43 a.m. to a two-vehicle accident at 9th Street and 13th Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 22. A vehicle operated by Joseph P. Simonette, 78, Monroe hit a vehicle operated by Kim F. Santamassino, 44, New Glarus. Simonette was cited for failure to stop at a stop light and was released pending court.
