MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Friday on County A near County H in York township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Melissa S. Johnson, 29, Argyle, failed to negotiate a curve due to slippery road conditions, left the road and hit a power pole. Johnson had to be extricated from the vehicle. She was taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison by Blanchardville Emergency Medical Services. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed. Alliant Energy also responded to the scene to repair the power pole.

- No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 a.m. Friday on Wisconsin 11 near Allen Road in Cadiz township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Melissa M. Kuhlmyer, 39, South Wayne, left the road due to slippery road conditions and hit a fence. The vehicle was removed from the ditch by a tow service.

- No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Friday in the N7600 block of County N in New Glarus township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Stephanie L. Wilson, 27, Monroe, hit a patch of ice and went into the ditch. The vehicle received minor damage.

- A vehicle driven by Annessa L. Swanson, 21, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 6 p.m. Friday in the N5800 block of Schneeberger Road in Mount Pleasant township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- A vehicle driven by Forrest E. Ross, 47, Albany, collided with a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the W970 block of Wis. 92 in Brooklyn township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
