MONROE - One person was injured at about 9:30 p.m. Friday in the W1100 block of Bump Road in the Town of Albany. Deputies report Brandon J. Freeman, 25, Brodhead, was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment causing his vehicle to roll over. Albany Fire Department extricated Freeman from the vehicle. Freeman was transported to the Monroe Hospital for injuries by Albany EMS. Freeman was arrested for third offense operating while under the influence of intoxicants; failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle; operating left of center; failure to wear a seatbelt; and open intoxicants in motor vehicle. Freeman was jailed on a Department of Corrections warrant.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Friday on Patterson Road west of Bethel Road in the Town of Clarno. Deputies report Steven D. Rakow, 47, Monroe, reported he was operating a motorcycle approaching a narrow bridge when a westbound car came over the bridge and was partially in the eastbound lane. Rakow stated he braked to avoid colliding with the other vehicle and his rear brake locked up on the wet pavement causing his vehicle to overturn onto its left side and slide off the north side of the road. Rakow sustained injuries and was later transported to the hospital by private vehicle. Rakow drove his motorcycle home from the scene. The motorcycle received moderate left side damage.
