Terry L. Voegeli, age 50 of Monroe, died on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, surrounded by his loving family, after his courageous battle with cancer, at his home. He was born on November 12, 1960, the son of Gaylord and Rosemary (Meier) Voegeli. He was a 1979 graduate of Monroe High School and a graduate of Blackhawk Technical College. Terry and Linda Marie Mathisen were married on September 6, 1986 at the Union Presbyterian Church in Monroe. He was an Industrial Engineer and worked in quality control at Orchid, in Monroe. Terry enjoyed karaoke and watching sports. He was an avid Packer, Brewer and Badger Fan.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; parents, Gaylord "Buddy" and Rosemary Voegeli; son, Bobby Voegeli; daughter, Julianna Voegeli; brother, Michael (Velvet) Voegeli; sisters, Rita (Gene) Grinnell, Nancy (Mike) Myers all of Monroe, Penny (James) Ruchti of Nashville, TN; father and mother-in-law, LaVerne and Lucille Buske; sisters-in-law, Melody (Tom) Grindey, Krystal (Kurt) Schlichting, Melinda (Bill) Phillips, Kim Janicke, Melissa (Scott) Sargent; brothers-in-law, Ron, Doug, and Craig Mathisen all of the Warren, IL area; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Monroe United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Randy Booth officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe. A visitation will be held on Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the Monroe Clinic Hospice in Terry's memory.

Terry was the most wonderful husband and best friend a wife could have and a wonderful father to his two children.
