Suzanne Minder, age 88, of Browntown, died peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 17, 1929 in Lafayette County, the daughter of Ben and Eveline (Rodebaugh) Goodman. She graduated South Wayne High School in 1947.
Suzanne married John Minder on June 22, 1947 in Browntown. She worked on the farm alongside her husband. She belonged to the Homemakers club, was active in 4-H, taught Sunday school, enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, dancing and reading.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Janet) Minder of Browntown, Dawn (Dale) Hoesly of Monroe, Dian (Jayson) Storts of Madison, Michele (Craig) Meiter of Stillman Valley, IL, and David (Kathy) Minder of Browntown; 13 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John; 2 brothers: Sam and Charles Goodman; 3 sisters: Thelma Cary, Audrey Schliem, and Dorothy Webster.
Private graveside services will be held at Saucerman Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be given in Suzanne's name to Boys Town.
