Albany Police

ALBANY - Shane P. Ringhand, 38, Albany, was cited Thursday, April 26, for driving with a revoked license.

- Dustin L. Riggins, 19, McFarland, was arrested Thursday, April 26, on an outstanding warrant issued by the Albany Police Department for failure to pay a fine on a citation for driving with a suspended license.

- Daniel J. Brill, 28, Albany, was cited Thursday, April 26, for driving with a suspended license.

- Julio Hernandez Miranda, 19, Albany, was cited Saturday, April 28, for driving without a valid license.

- Jodi L. Abrahamson, 42, Albany, was arrested Saturday, April 28, on charges of driving while intoxicated (third offense) and speeding.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Walter G. Melton, Jr., 40, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated (first offense) and driving with a suspended license at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, April 29, in the 1900 block of 9th Street. He was released pending court.

- A dog-owner was warned for allowing a dog to run at large in the 1500 block of 13th Street at 7:52 a.m. Friday, April 27.

- Police warned a property owner in the 300 block of 9th Avenue at 8:19 a.m. Friday, April 27, for having a truck with expired plates and flat tires and a boat on a trailer in the yard.

- A radar detector and a wallet were reported as stolen from an unlocked car in the 500 block of 16th Avenue at 5:09 p.m. Friday, April 27.

- Two cases of identity theft were reported at about 8:45 a.m. Friday, April 27, by a business in the 1100 block of 7th Avenue.

- Prescription medications (a muscle relaxant and a narcotic painkiller) were reported as stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of 18th Street at 1:49 p.m. Friday, April 27.

- A bicycle theft was reported at 3:08 p.m. Friday, April 27, from the front porch of a residence in the 600 block of 16th Avenue. The resident said the theft occurred sometime between the evening of April 21 and the morning of April 22. The bicycle is described as a red 26-inch men's Mongoose.

- Walmart reported at 3:44 p.m. Friday, April 27, that customers from out-of-state had used fraudulently obtained credit cards to make purchases. The case is under investigation.

- A vehicle was reportedly egged in the 1000 block of 16th Street at 10:34 p.m. Friday, April 27.

- Bahler Produce, 901 19th St., was burglarized and a small amount of cash taken, according to a report taken at 7:03 a.m. Saturday, April 28. The break-in reportedly happened sometime since close-of-business Friday evening.

- A resident in the 1500 block of 15th Avenue reported at 7:46 a.m. Saturday, April 28, that a vandal had pulled a hand-railing out of the ground in the front yard.

- A cellphone was reported at 1:34 p.m. Saturday, April 28, as stolen from a person in the 500 block of West 21st Street. Police have a suspect, but the case remains under investigation.

- A gazing ball was reported at 5:51 p.m. Saturday, April 28, as stolen from a yard in the 300 block of North 13th Avenue.

- A patron at the Depot Bar, 1315 17th St., reported a fight in the bar at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, April 29. The fight had stopped by the time police arrived, and no injuries were reported. Police warned those involved to clear out.

- Police took a report at 2:24 a.m. Sunday, April 29, that two vehicles were drag-racing in the 1400 block of 17th Street. The vehicles were gone by the time police arrived.

- A grandmother in the 500 block of West 21st Street called police at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, April 29, to complain that children in her care were not listening to her. An officer was dispatched to handle the situation.

- A woman in the 500 block of West 21st Street called police at 7:43 p.m. Sunday, April 29, to report harassing text messages. Police warned the sender of the messages to stop.
