MONROE - On Wednesday:

• Brent M. Alderman, 24, Brodhead, was cited for driving while revoked (OWI related) and failure to install an interlock ignition device at 9:14 a.m. in the N1100 County G in the Town of Spring Grove. He was released pending a mandatory court date.

• Nicolas M. Paris, 22, Brodhead, was cited for driving without a valid license, criminal offense after being stopped for expired registration at 2:12 p.m. on Wisconsin 11 on the westbound on ramp from Wis. 59. Paris was released pending a mandatory court appearance.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A parking problem was reported at 12:01 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

• A deputy assisted a citizen at 6:29 a.m. on White Street in Benton.

• An injured animal was reported at 8:56 a.m. on County W in Benton Township.

• Joaquin Martinez-Castelan, 39, Darlington, was cited for operating without a valid license at 10:19 a.m. on Wis. 126, Elk Grove Township.

• Deputies assisted Darlington Police at 6 p.m. on Galena Street in Darlington.

• A traffic complaint was reported at 6:58 p.m. on County A in Argyle Township.

• A deputy responded for a vehicle unlock at 8:23 p.m. to County I in New Diggings Township.

• A deputy responded at 8:26 p.m. to School Street in Blanchardville for a welfare check.

On Thursday:

• Janice M. Boettcher, 59, Dodgeville, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 4:43 a.m. on County G, Belmont Township.

• A domestic dispute was reported at 10:56 a.m. on Ohnstad Road in Darlington Township. Darlington Police assisted.

• A disabled vehicle was reported at 11:44 a.m. on County O in Seymour Township.

A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police with disorderly conduct reported at 2:40 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police at 3:59 p.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg for a welfare check.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• Dawn M. Veer, 45, Monroe, was cited for retail theft following a shoplifting complaint at a business in the 700 block of 8th Street at 4:51 p.m. Veer was released pending court.

• David S. Eldred, 53, Monroe, was arrested on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for a probation violation at 7:24 p.m. in the 1300 block of 17th Street. He was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.

On Thursday:

• Two men were cited after a theft complaint was reported at 11:03 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. Tyler A. Plath, 25, Warren, Illinois, and Travis D. Pina, 24, Gratiot, were both cited for theft. The two men were booked and released pending court.
