DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Feb. 5:

• Corey J. Fordham, 19, Spicer, Minn., was taken into custody at 12:49 a.m. at a residence on County B, Belmont Township, after deputies responded to a complaint of an unwanted subject at the residence. Fordham remains jailed on a charge of criminal trespass to a dwelling.

• A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle at 11:30 a.m. that had been left parked at the Benton School's parking lot for several days.

• A deputy took a report at 3:20 p.m. of a suspicious message left on a cellphone belonging to a resident of Wiota Township.

• Jason D. Hocking, 42, Benton, was transported from the Grant County Jail to Lafayette County Jail at 3:32 p.m. Hocking remains jailed on a Department of Corrections probation hold.

• A deputy took a report at 6:50 p.m. of a disorderly conduct incident that occurred between two adult males at a location on County XX, Belmont Township.
