ALBANY Police

ALBANY - James V. Vallo, 37, Albany, was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia on Wednesday.

On Saturday:

• John R. Tveit, 37, Poynette, was cited for outside consumption.

• Megan M. Tessmer, 26. Janesville, was cited for outside consumption.

On Sunday:

• Logan D. Jesberger, 21, Sun Prairie, was arrested for unnecessary acceleration, disorderly conduct, driving a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with prohibited blood alcohol.

• Corey L. Forrester, 23, Plain, was cited for urinating in public.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Friday:

• Randall J. Marks, 41, Monroe, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. in the 200 block of 8th Street on an outstanding warrant issued through the Monroe Police Department for failing to pay fine. Marks was jailed.

• Jamie L. Splinter, 29, Monroe, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. in the 500 block of 22nd Avenue on outstanding warrants issued through the Green County Sheriff's Department and the Monroe Police Department for failing to pay fine. Splinter was jailed.

On Saturday:

• Mackenzie L. Tropp, 19, of Beloit, was arrested at 1:16 a.m. in the 2900 block of Wisconsin 69 on an outstanding warrant issued through the Beloit Police Department for obstructing an officer. Tropp was released.

• Josue D. Cruz, 19, of Blanchardville was arrested for disorderly conduct and underage possession/consumption of alcohol after officer's responded at 3:44 p.m. to the 100 block of West 8th Street regarding a 911 call. Cruz was released.

• Elvia I. Edler, 29, Monroe, was arrested at 6:44 PM in the 500 block of 22nd Avenue on an outstanding warrant issued through the Beloit Police Department for failing to pay fine. Edler was transported to the Green County Jail pending cash bond.

On Sunday:

• Tina M. Hull, 30, Freeport, was arrested for bail jumping at 2:07 a.m. in the 1300 block of 16th Street. Hull was jailed.



NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - Maurice D. King, 44, New Glarus, was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to an attempted battery at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 4.

On Wednesday:

• Police took possession of a found bicycle at 7:21 p.m., from the 300 block of Railroad Street. An owner could not be located.

• Police cited Montell D. Goodvine, 25, Milwaukee, for driving a vehicle while suspended after observing an equipment violation at 8:19 p.m., in the 500 block of Wis. 69.

On Thursday:

• Allie E. Myrland, 25, Belleville, was cited for illegal tint at 4:47 p.m. after observing a registration violation in the 10th block of Wis. 69.

• Police received a 911 call at 12:21 p.m. from the 500 block of 14th Avenue. Reports indicate that a TDS installer had accidentally dialed it when he was installing the telephone to the residence.

• Police contacted the owner of a vehicle parked in the 900 block of 4th Street at 2:57 p.m. because he was parked in a temporary no parking zone so the highway department could seal coat the road.

• Police took a phone call at 4:09 p.m. regarding some juveniles who were harassing some citizens in the 700 block of 6th Avenue.

On Friday:

• Cody A. Carroll, 28, New Glarus, was cited for animal at large and Stacy L. Austin, 28, New Glarus, was cited for dog license required violation after police retrieved a dog at large at 10:12 a.m. The animal was returned to the owner.

• Angela M. Johnson, 40, Juda, was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving a vehicle without insurance after observing an equipment violation at 6:13 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Sara E. Smith, 26, New Glarus, was cited for driving a vehicle without insurance after observing an equipment violation at 10:05 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Police received a call at 4:19 p.m. regarding possible suspicious activity in the 200 block of 11th Avenue. No suspicious activity was found, and the vehicle in the driveway of the house was the neighbors.

• New Glarus Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with a vehicle in the roadway complaint they had received at 11:07 p.m. in the W5900 block of Durst Road. Upon investigation no vehicle was found.

• Police warned three adults about being in a park after hours at 11:38 p.m. in the 100 block of 4th Avenue.

On Saturday:

• Police were dispatched at 8:53 p.m., to the 1400 block of 2nd Street for a report of possible gunshots heard in the area. It was later found to be fireworks that were coming from outside the village.

• At 9:18 p.m., police assisted the Belleville Police Department with an intoximeter test that resulted from a driving while intoxicated arrest that occurred in the Village of Belleville.

On Sunday:

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department at 1:52 p.m. with watching for a vehicle that was reported in a traffic complaint on Wis. 69 and in the area of Monticello. The vehicle was not located.

• At 6:15 p.m., police met with a citizen in the 500 block of 14th Avenue in reference to a child custody matter. The matter was found to be civil and citizen was instructed to contact their attorney.

• Police responded to a disorderly conduct incident between two male subjects at 7:46 p.m., in the 30 block of 6th Avenue. Both subjects involved were separated. The incident stemmed from a civil matter where a family member was moving out of a residence.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Richard Capsik, 74, Rockford, was cited for speeding at 3:45 p.m. following a traffic stop on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township.

• Jerome E. Melland, 50, South Wayne was cited for disorderly conduct at 6:57 p.m. when deputies responded to a report of disorderly conduct at a location on Swanson Road in Wayne Township.

• Rafael A. Santiago, 23, Gratiot, was cited for driving without a valid driver's license at 10:16 p.m. after a traffic stop on Riverbend Road in Gratiot Township. Santiago was booked and released from the Lafayette County Jail.

• Deputies responded to a location at 1:50 a.m. on Pecatonica Road in Wiota Township for a residential alarm that had been activated.

• A deputy assisted Argyle Police Department at 11:16 a.m. with a call on Broad Street in the Village of Argyle.

• A deputy took a report of stolen property at 12:37 p.m. at a location on County J in the Village of Benton.

• A deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity at 12:44 p.m. on E Main Street in the Village of Benton.

• A deputy took a report of a traffic complaint at 3:16 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township.

• A deputy took a report of computer crimes at 5:13 p.m. at a residence on Meier Road in Wayne Township.

• Deputies took a report of a civil dispute at 7:30 p.m. on W. Estey Street in the City of Shullsburg.

On Saturday:

• Aaron S. Tran, 37, Chicago, was cited for speeding at 7:25 p.m. on White Oak Road in Monticello Township.

• A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police Department with a burglary investigation at 12:24 p.m. at a residence on W. Estey Street in Shullsburg.

• A deputy investigated a traffic complaint of an erratic driver at 7:02 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Seymour Township. The complaint was unfounded.

• Deputies investigated a criminal damage to property complaint at 9:10 p.m. on County F in Fayette township. A vehicle received damage.

• A deputy provided a ride to a subject found walking on Wis. 23 in Darlington Township at 10:55 p.m.

On Sunday:

• Candace S. Montoya, 48, Warren, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 12:06 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Gratiot Township.

• Amber K. Aguilar Guevara, 26, Shullsburg, was cited for an expired registration at 12:44 a.m. on County E in Darlington Township.

• Jose M. Moncada Gomez, 27, Blanchardville, was cited for an expired registration and having no valid driver's license at 12:50 a.m. on County F in Fayette Township.
