Myla Ann Dalen, age 71, of Albany, Wisconsin, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at her home. She was born April 10, 1939 in Platteville, WI the daughter of Lawrence and Lavora (Rice) Cook and attended Platteville Schools.
Myla and Harlow Dalen were married December of 1959 in Dubuque, Iowa. Myla was a Certified Nursing Assistant for Home Care and enjoyed her cats, dog, collecting dolls, and was a good mother, sister, & friend to all.
Surviving are her special friend, Ronald Mabie of Albany; mother, Lavora Cook of Brodhead; son, James Dalen of Monroe; brothers, Donald (Karen) Cook of Janesville, Keith (Bea) Cook of TN, Steve (Sue) Cook of Brodhead, Dennis Cook of Monroe, Lyle Cook of Monticello, & Michael Cook of Monroe; sisters, Carol (Ron) Loomis of Georgetown, FL, Marylin Hoffman of Beloit, Cheryl (Russell) Warriner of Beloit, Kathy (Jeff) Gilbertson of Albany, & Connie (Michael) Peterson of Argyle; and 3 Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Father; Husband; daughter, Cheryl Dalen, and brothers, Lawrence & Cecil.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue, in Monroe with Pastor Pat Soddy officiating. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery, Lima Township, Grant County, WI.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
