VERONA - Louise Ashworth, of Verona, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011. She was born in Monroe, WI, daughter of Joseph and Louise Felder Roesli.

She was an inspiration to her family and many others through the help of the Lord.

Survivors include: Thomas (Frank) Ashworth, husband.

Children include: Vicki (Joe) Zaffino, Mike (Donna) Bischoff, David Bischoff, Theresa Bischoff (Dino Dimopoulos), Monica Bischoff (Francis Ray), Ann Marie (David) Gillespie, Jeanne Bischoff, Jayne (Oskar) Werner, and Tim Bischoff.

Her step children: Dan Ashworth, Joe (Sharon) Ashworth, Cathy Fitzgerald, Tom (Bonnie) Fitzgerald.

Grandchildren are: James and Madelyn Zaffino, Alex (Siobvon) Bischoff (their son, Andrew); Aaron Bischoff, Jordan Bischoff, Louisa and Demi Dimopoulos, Claire and Hannah Gillespie, Lucas and Marcus Sanders, and Lila Werner.

Other relatives are: A sister, Bernadine (Gary) LaFave, sister-in-law, Grace Aavang, nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and many relatives in Switzerland.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Louise Roesli, two brothersAnthony and Joely Roesli, her first husband, Delbert Bischoff and a grandson, Andy Bischoff.

Her compassion, empathy, remembering special events of others, positive attitude and gratefulness for the ability to work up until her illness were remarkable. Her gentle smile and great listening skills were a comfort to many.

Louise and her family most sincerely thank Fr. William Vernon, Fr. Joseph Isidore, seminarian Christopher Gernetski, Cathy Schneider, and Joan Gerhards of St. Christopher's Parish-Verona, for their spiritual guidance and visits, along with the staffs at St. Mary's Hospital and Hospice Care, Fitchburg.

Sincere appreciation is extended to those who prayed, called, sent cards, flowers, gifts, and visited for Louise's comfort, and that of her family.

In lieu of flowers, Louise requested memorials be sent to St. Christopher Parish (formerly St. Andrew)-Verona, Olbrich Gardens-Madison, or Hospice Care-Fitchburg.

The family will receive visitors at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Dr., Verona, during a visitation on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 3:00-6:30 p.m. A Vigil Service will take place at the funeral home from 6:30-7:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20 at ST. ANDREW CATHOLIC CHURCH, 301 N. Main St., Verona, with Fr. William Vernon presiding. There will be no visitation before Mass. The family will also receive visitors during the luncheon in the parish center following a private burial at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
