DODGEVILLE - Judy M. McMannes, age 60, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.
She was born on April 13, 1953 in Dodgeville, a daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Frank) Miller. She graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1971. On September 18, 1971, she married James McMannes at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dodgeville. Judy will be forever remembered for her laughter and caring attitude. Judy loved spoiling her grandchildren. She inspired everyone she knew to be a better person.
Judy is survived by her husband, James McMannes; her daughters, Jeni (Joel) Meuer and JoDeanna Schroeder (Jim), all of Dodgeville; her grandchildren, Justin (Brooke) Meuer, Jamey Schroeder, Jackie Schroeder and Odessa Meuer; her siblings, Bill (Sue) Miller, of Dodgeville, Edith (Darrell) March, of Stoughton, Phyllis (Ed) Mulderink, of Fulton, IL, Julie (Ron) Symons, of Dodgeville and Nick (Barb) Miller, of New Glarus; brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twins siblings, John and Joan, her father and mother-in-law, Buddy McMannes and Marietta McMannes and her brothers-in-law, Jay and Jerry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Fr. Patrick Wendler will officiate. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
