Jeffrey J. Lewis, age 51, of rural Argyle, WI, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at his home. He was born December 17, 1962 in Monroe, WI, the son of James and Jane (Wendler) Lewis. Jeff grew up in rural Argyle and graduated from Argyle High School in 1981. He worked at Monroe Truck, Moore Business Forms of Monroe, Ted Tollakson Farms in rural South Wayne, WI, and most recently he worked with his sister at T.A.H. Livestock in Winslow, IL, and at Curran Cheese in Argyle.

Jeff is survived by two brothers: Jim (Michelle) Lewis Jr. of Reno, NV, and Jon J. (Nicole) Lewis of Gratiot, WI; one sister: Jolene (Terry Holm) Lewis of Winslow, IL; his nieces and nephews: Hank Holm, James and Will Lewis, and Josslyn and Jakobi Lewis; both of his self-proclaimed adoptive parents: Ma and Pa Tollakson (Ted and Darlene) of rural South Wayne and Rich and Bev Lelle of Woodford, WI; his dogs: Milo, Bruno, Badger, and Shadow. He was preceded in death by his mother on August 3, 1998; and his father on December 3, 2008.

Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends. One of Jeff's proudest moments was watching his nephew, Hank, play for Le-Win Panthers Football team as they won the 2013 State High School Football Championship at NIU in DeKalb, IL. He was an avid Packers and Badgers fan and loved having bonfires. Jeff was a true animal lover.

A visitation only will be held Sunday, February 16, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 801 East Milwaukee Street in Argyle. A luncheon and time for fellowship will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Lelle's in Woodford to further celebrate Jeff's life.
