Gerald Gordon "Jerry" Gogin, age 74 of rural Redgranite, died suddenly, Thursday morning, July 24, 2008 at his home in the Township of Marion.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Gloria (nee Biskupski); a daughter, Gwen (Don) Knaak of Berlin; three sons, "Jay" Gerald John (Robin) Gogin of Key West, Florida, Greg (Marie) Gogin of Monroe, WI, and Glenn (Cathy) Gogin of Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jerry is also survived by four brothers, six sisters, over 80 nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral Services for Gerald G. Gogin will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, at St. James Place in Neshkoro, WI, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be Concelebrated by Father Dale Grubba and Father Jerome J. Taddy. (St. James Place is located just north of St. James Church on Highway 73 in Neshkoro.) Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ruminski Funeral Home in Redgranite, WI, where the Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. There will be further visitation on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass at St. James Place in Neshkoro.
