Eric Lee (Rude Skinny) Runaas, 27, of Albany, WI, passed away after succumbing to the demons associated with his drug addiction. He suffered a medical emergency and spent five days at the Eau Claire Mayo Clinic Health System fighting to fulfill his promise to his daughter to get clean. Eric Lee passed peacefully surrounded by family on June 25, 2017. Eric Lee was born in Jasper, Alabama on April 19, 1990. He graduated from Monroe Alternative Charter School, June 5, 2009. Eric Lee was a self-employed roofer and helped his grandparents at Abe's Bounce House Rentals. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, playing video games, watching movies, playing his guitar and writing songs. Eric Lee is survived by his daughter, Lucille (Kassandra Gonzales), his grandparents Abe (Phyllis) Runaas, Louise Bonner, his parents Donald Runaas (Becky Jackson), Teresa (Tom) Jackson, his brothers and sisters, Devin, Hanna, Aaron, Skylar, Trinity, Baylor, his niece, and other family and friends.

The family of Eric Lee Runaas wishes to thank the staff in the Critical Care Unit at the Eau Claire Mayo Clinic Health System, Bill Hurtley at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home and Nancy Richardson at Green County Human Services. A celebration of life will be held from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday July 30, 2017 at the Lions Club in Albany.
