Felonies

The court Monday entered a not guilty plea and scheduled a Feb. 1 district attorney conference for Jessica L. Gray, 20, Brodhead, who stood mute to charges of drug possession. Court records allege she possessed 28 Vicodin tablets in a plastic bag and 15 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag and also had various items of drug paraphernalia in her possession Oct. 20 in Brodhead. She is charged with possession with intent to deliver non-narcotics, a class H felony; and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both unclassified misdemeanors. She faces more than six years in prison and more than $11,000 in fines, if convicted. She remains free on a $7,000 signature bond.

In a second case, the court entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a Feb. 1 district attorney conference for Jessica L. Gray, 20, Brodhead, who stood mute to charges of bail jumping. Court records allege she violated her signature bond on Oct. 25 in Spring Green Township by having contact with a person in violation of the above case. She is charged with bail jumping, a class H felony. She faces six years in prison and $10,000 in fines, if convicted. She remains free on a second $7,000 signature bond.

The court Monday entered a not guilty plea and scheduled a Jan. 13 plea hearing for Lucas J. Newcomer, 17, Monroe, who stood mute to drug charges. Court records allege he had 96.7 grams of marijuana in a glass jar, 26.2 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag, 25.6 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag and 5.2 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag and had a homemade pot pipe in his possession Dec. 21 in Monroe Township. He is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, a class I felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, an unclassified misdemeanor. He faces more than three years in prison and more than $10,000 in fines. He remains free on a $3,000 signature bond.

Misdemeanors

Robert J. Gile, 56, Albany, plead not guilty in court Monday to charges of disorderly conduct. The court scheduled a Feb. 1 district attorney conference. Court records allege he grabbed a woman's wrist, held her down and slapped her on Nov. 27 at a residence in Albany Township. He is charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines. He remains free on a $500 signature bond.

The court Monday entered a not guilty plea and scheduled a Feb. 15 district attorney conference for Douglas B. Scace, 40, Argyle, who stood mute to charges of disorderly conduct, battery and two counts of bail jumping. Court records allege he hit a woman in the face with his fist Jan. 1 at a residence in Adams Township while on bond in Iowa County for second offense driving while intoxicated and second offense driving with a prohibited alcohol content. Court records also allege he drank alcohol in violation of the conditions of his bond. He is charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor, and battery and two counts of bail jumping, all class A misdemeanors.Scace faces 30 months in jail and $31,000 in fines. He remains free on a $2,000 signature bond.
