Felonies

MONROE - William Wilke, 40, Stoughton, appeared in court today in custody for charges for one count of Class G felony possession of a firearm, one count of Class G felony theft, one count of Class H felony theft and one count of Class E felony burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon. Wilke was released on a signature bond set at $20,000. Wilke was allegedly involved in burglarizing a home on the 600 block of 14th Avenue, New Glarus on Sept. 28, 2012. Wilke allegedly stole an 800 pound safe with more than $150,000 worth of currency inside. Wilke was allegedly aided by two accomplices in the burglary.
