BRODHEAD —  On Oct. 26: 

● Fraud involving use of someone else’s license was reported at 4:08 p.m. in the 700 block of 1st Center Avenue. This remains under investigation. 

On Oct. 27: 

● Disorderly conduct and a code violation was reported at 2:25 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 2nd Avenue. The matter was resolved. 

● Suspicious activity was reported at 8:20 a.m. in the 100 block of 23rd Street. This remains under investigation. 

On Oct. 30: 

● Animal abuse was reported at 2:45 a.m. in the 800 block of East Exchange Street. 

● A dog at large was reported at 8:40 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. The dog was returned. 

● A Brodhead man, 18, was cited for speeding at 9:53 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street. 

● A beaver at large was reported at 11:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police escorted it away from downtown area. 

● A domestic problem was reported at 11:56 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street. This is being referred to Green County District Attorney’s Office. 

For the week of Oct. 31 to Nov. 6, police performed 20 security checks, 19 citizen assists, 15 assists of other agencies, 10 follow-ups to incidents, 13 vehicle registration and three traffic stops; responded to 39 calls for service and reported eight EMS calls, nine 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and two fire calls. No detox or mental health transports were reported. 

On Oct. 31: 

● Vandalism was reported at 2:37 p.m. in the 700 block of West 2nd Avenue.  

● Suspicious activity was reported at 8:04 p.m. in the 200 block of 23rd Street. 

● Suspicious activity was reported at 9:04 p.m. in the 2200 block of 1st Center Avenue. 

● A Brooklyn man, 35, was cited for permitting unauthorized person to drive, non-registration of auto, display unauthorized registration plate and failure to transfer title at 9:11 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue. A passenger fled. A warrant was issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. 

On Nov. 1: 

● Disorderly conduct was reported at 10:18 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

 ● A juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct at 12:37 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.
