Monticello Police 

MONTICELLO — On July 24:

●  Police responded to check welfare at 9:46 a.m. on South Monroe Street. It was related to a child custody dispute and a civil matter so no action was taken.

●  Aaron J. Koch, 24, Monroe, was cited for speeding, driving with a revoked license and failure to install an interlock ignition device at 3:27 p.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69. 

●  Cory D. Sveum, 25, Brodhead, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 5:33 p.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69.

●  Charles F. Marshall Jr., 37, Belleville, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt at 6 p.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69.

On July 25:

●  Police received a report of vehicles with plastic wrap around them, tires slashed and brake lines cut at 10:08 a.m. in the 300 block of East Coates Avenue.

●  A purse was located at 1:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69 and turned over to police. It was returned to the owner.

●  A lost wallet was reported at 7:12 p.m. in the 500 block of Eisenhower Court. It was found and returned to the owner.

●  Cut brake lines were reported at 9:23 p.m. in the 200 block of North Monroe Street.

On July 27:

●  Police assisted with the removal of a bat at 11:14 a.m. at a residence in the 400 block of South Monroe Street. The bat was turned over to Green County Public Health for testing.

●  Police were dispatched for a juvenile welfare check at 11:47 a.m. in the 100 block of East Lake Avenue.

●  Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 1:03 p.m. in the 300 block of East Wisconsin Avenue.

●  Stolen property was reported at 2:59 p.m. in the 300 block of Jefferson Street.

On July 28:

●  Police assisted a motorist with directions at 1:21 p.m.

●  Police assisted a citizen with contacting Human Services at 2:25 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street. 

On July 29:

●  A lost wallet was reported at 9:21 a.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69.

On July 30:

●  An illegally parked trailer was reported at 10:12 a.m. in the 600 block of Sunset Avenue. It was moved before police arrived.

●  An illegally parked boat was reported at 10:20 a.m. in the 300 block of Urban Road. It was removed.

●  Fraud was reported at 1:37 p.m. in the 400 block of East Coates Avenue.

●  A suspicious package was reported at 2:24 p.m. in the 100 block of south Main Street. Everything appeared fine.

●  Police took a report at 6:11 p.m. that an arrow was shot into the side of an above-ground pool in the 500 block of Summit Avenue.

●  An illegally parked vehicle was reported at 8:24 p.m. on East Lake Avenue near South Pratt Road. It was cited for blocking the flow of traffic and was removed.

On July 31:

●  Gabriel L. Castro Rodriguez, 28, Monroe, was cited for no vehicle insurance at 1:32 a.m. in the 100 block of Wis. 69.
