On August 23:

● At 2:42 a.m., officers were called to a single-vehicle accident with no reported injuries, in the 600 block of 14th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Michelle K. Hicks, 49, of Monroe, was traveling west in the 1400 block of 7th Street, failed to maintain control of the vehicle and collided with a curb. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed. Hicks was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense, and also cited for failure to maintain control of the vehicle and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. Hicks was released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.

● At 9:58 a.m., officers arrested Joshua J. Mueller, 44, of Monroe, in the 3000 block of 13th Street, after a traffic offense stop. Mueller was charged with bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions from a prior case prohibiting operating a motor vehicle. Mueller was also cited for operating after revocation-alcohol related and failure to install an ignition interlock device. Mueller was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On August 24:

● At 6:28 p.m., officers were called to a report of a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Abel A. Herrera Lopez, 54, of Monticello, was southbound when Herrera Lopez stopped and backed up, colliding with another southbound vehicle operated by Hunter L. Kilmurray, 22, of Monroe. Herrera Lopez’s vehicle had minor damage, while the Kilmurray vehicle had functional damage. Herrera Lopez was cited for operating without a valid driver’s license, no insurance and hit and run. Kilmurray was cited for operating without insurance. Both Herrera Lopez and Kilmurray were released pending a court appearance.

On August 25:

● At 4:50 p.m., officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of West 21st Street. An investigation led to the arrest of Trevor M. Peterson, 54, of Monroe, on two counts of disorderly conduct, battery and strangulation under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws. Peterson was also arrested on a warrant from Dane County for failure to appear in court on a prior operating while intoxicated charge. Peterson was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. 

● At 6:43 p.m., officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 2000 block of 7th Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Janelle L. Koehler, 39, of Monroe, on a charge of disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws. Koehler was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
