● At 3:36 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported minor injuries, at 16th Street and 15th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Jayden M. Baumgartner,  22, of South Wayne, was eastbound on 16th Street, turned south into the path of a vehicle which was westbound on 16th Street, operated by a 51-year-old Monroe woman. The 51-year-old Monroe woman reported minor injuries but declined immediate medical attention. Baumgartner’s vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed, the other vehicle sustained functional damages. Baumgartner was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn and released pending a court appearance.
