WALWORTH — Sugar River defeated familiar foes en route to winning the Big Foot Invite Saturday, Sept. 7. The Raiders edged Waterford and 2023 invite champion Westosha Central in penalty kicks 4-2 and 5-4, respectively. In the championship game, Sugar River shut out Edgerton 3-0 with four points from Tikeh Tazeh off one goal and two assists. Clayton Streiff was in net for all three games.

PLATTEVILLE — Late scores from Nathan Hendrickson and Tazeh gave Sugar River its first win of the 2024 season on Sept. 5. Backed by a nine-save shutout from Streiff, the Raiders defeated Platteville-Lancaster 2-0.
