On August 29:

● 10:23 a.m. Timothy P Jacobson, 60, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. No injuries were reported, and Jacobson’s 2008 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 11:18 a.m. A deputy responded to Carr Factory RD, Benton Township for theft.

● 2:03 p.m. A deputy responded to Palfrey RD, New Diggings Township for suspicious activity.

● 7:05 p.m. Stacie A Berget, 39, Gratiot reported striking a deer on Walnut RD, Wiota Township. No injuries were reported and Berget’s 2021 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
