Brodhead AutumnFest set for Saturday, Sept. 28

BRODHEAD - The annual AutumnFest is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.

Children's activities include pumpkin bowling and a petting zoo. Other activities include a farmer/craft market, food stands, a beer tent and music by the State Line Play Boys. Pontoon boat rides are available for a donation of $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

Trick-or-treating at participating businesses will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. Hayrides through Brodhead are available for $1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During AutumnFest, a chili contest will be held. The public can vote for the best chili; participating in the chili tasting will cost $3. A 2:45 p.m., winners of the contest will be announced.

At noon, a costume parade will be held at the Gazebo. The Habitat for Humanity Duck Race is set for 3:15 p.m.
