JANESVILLE - Robert J. Lisser, vice president/CFO of Bliss Communications Inc., announced the promotion of Pam Schmoldt to vice president financial operations.
Schmoldt joined Bliss Communications in 1985 as corporate accounting supervisor and has been serving as corporate controller since 1991. For more than 25 years, Schmoldt has developed extensive expertise in newspaper and radio accounting and financial operations.
Schmoldt supervises a staff of eight and is responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general financial reporting and payroll. She also trains and assists office managers at subsidiary locations.
Schmoldt is a Monroe native; she attended Monroe High School. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and has been a Janesville resident since 1981. She and her husband, Jeff, have two sons - Eric and and Kevin (Kim).
