MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department is offering a new adult bean bag league and high school/college bean bag league this summer. Teams of two are formed and will play two to three games per night.
Packets are available at the Parks and Recreation office, 1110 18th Ave.
Adult bean bag leagues are for ages 25 and older. Games are played from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday nights at Twining Park, near the volleyball courts. The league begins June 12 and ends Aug. 7. The cost is $15 per person and $5 per sub.
High school/college bean bag leagues are for ages 14 to 24 years old. Games are played on Wednesday nights from 7 to 8 p.m. at Twining Park, near the volleyball courts. The league begins June 13 and ends August 8. The cost is $15 per person and $5 per sub.
