MONROE - Applications for the 2013 Century Farm or Home are now being accepted.
Farms or homes with 100 years of continuous ownership through the year 2013 will be recognized at a special breakfast program during the Wisconsin State Farm, held Aug. 1 through 11, 2013. The tentative date for the breakfast program is Aug. 6, 2013.
The farm or home, in whole or in part, must have been in continuous family ownership. Title of century property today must reside in blood relative of the original owner or a legally adapted child of a descendant. Continuous residence in the state or on the property is not required, but the title to the property must be continuous.
