ATHELSTANE (AP) - Authorities say a 90-year-old Monroe man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident on private property north of Newton Lake.
The Marinette County Sheriff's Office says James Bosanny was driving the ATV with his 64-year-old son James Bosanny Jr. on board about 3:50 p.m. Saturday when he lost control on a small hill after striking a plow before the vehicle accelerated and struck a tree.
The elder Bosanny died at the scene.
His son was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The sheriff's office says neither was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation.
Marinette County is north of Green Bay.
