WI Land+Water 2025 Youth Conservation Camp Opportunities
Hands-on outdoor experiences that spark curiosity, build skills, and open doors to natural resource careers
summer camp never stop exploring

MANITOWISH WATERS — Wisconsin Land+Water is excited to offer two unique summer conservation camps for middle and high school students in 2025. Open to students from Wisconsin and neighboring states, these camps provide hands-on outdoor experiences designed to foster a love of nature while exploring careers in natural resources and conservation.

Natural resource professionals lead engaging programs covering wildlife, habitat restoration, water quality, soils, forestry, and outdoor skills. Campers make new friends, participate in outdoor adventures, and gain valuable knowledge in a fun and supportive environment.

Thanks to support from the Brad Matson Memorial Conservation Camp Scholarship and local County Land and Water Conservation Departments, students have the chance to attend these immersive camps at a reduced cost — or even for free.

“Making these camps accessible through scholarships is incredibly important,” said Kim Warkentin, Youth Education Director. “Every student should have the opportunity to explore the outdoors, meet conservation professionals, and discover a passion for protecting our natural resources.”

Both camps provide hands-on experiences in wildlife, water quality, forestry, and outdoor skills, while offering unforgettable summer adventures with new friends from across the state. Space is limited — register early to secure a spot and explore scholarship opportunities.
