MONROE - Monroe United Methodist Church is having a Sunday School Kick-Off on Sunday, Sept. 13, starting at 9:15 a.m. Meet the teachers and enjoy a variety of family activities and special treats. Stay for the 10:30 a.m. worship service, then enjoy a family picnic at noon. Bring a dish to pass, with meat and beverage furnished. There will be an auction of special dessert items, including pies.
