MADISON — To help connect family, friends and loved ones, UScellular is offering customers free calls to Japan from the United States. From Jan. 1 through Feb. 1, 2024, any outbound calls made to Japan will have no international dialing rates applied.
Postpaid customers will have charges automatically waived. Prepaid customers whose plans allow for international dialing can call customer service at 1-888-944-9400 or *611 from their mobile phone to receive credits for applicable calls.

SSM Health Hosts Blood Drive in Monroe
MONROE — To help meet the continued national blood supply need, SSM Health will host a Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, Jan. 30. The Blood Drive will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the St. Clare Conference Center at their main clinic located at 515 22nd Avenue in Monroe.

It is recommended to eat before donating and to bring a photo ID. Those unable to donate can help by encouraging others to donate.
Monticello PTO Euchre Fundraiser
MONTICELLO — The Monticello PTO is holding their Annual Euchre Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Pink Heifer in Monticello. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the game begins at 7 p.m.
There will also be a silent auction of many items that have been generously donated. All the funds raised will go directly back to the students, teachers and the school for trips, scholarships and teacher classroom grants to name a few.

Save the Date: Stephenson County Fiber Art Fair April 6
CEDARVILLE — The 28th Annual Stephenson County Fiber Art Fair will be held on Saturday, April 6.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jane Addams Community Center, 430 W. Washington Street in Cedarville, Ill.
There will be workshops, demonstrations of spinning and weaving, vendors offering fibers for spinning, plus finished yard, dyes, books, gifts, equipment, handmade soap and baskets. There will also be supplies for spinning, weaving, knitting, felting, dyeing, tatting and crochet.
