LCGC to hold annual dinner

DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Genealogical Society will meet for its annual Heritage Dinner at 1:30 p.m. Sunday downstairs at the Lafayette County Historical Society Museum, 525 Main St. The basement door is to the right of the museum's front steps.

Attendees should bring table service and a dish to pass of a family favorite recipe or one that reflects ancestral heritage. Beverages will be provided.

Meetings are open to the public.

For the program, everyone is encouraged to bring a family story, genealogical discovery or a family heirloom to share.

Scheduling of the 2018 programs will be discussed at this meeting along with discussion of types of genealogy assistance that may be needed. Sharing of requests, suggestions and ideas will be appreciated. Call 608-558-9797 with questions.
