Hope for Justice to talk about human trafficking

MONROE - Hope for Justice will give a presentation at noon Oct. 8 at the Monroe United Methodist Church, 2227 4th St., Monroe.

After a light lunch, there will be a 60-minute presentation to discuss the epidemic of human trafficking. Workshops for adults who work with teens and a teen workshop will follow.

The free workshop is put on by Hope for Justice, a faith-based, international organization that works against human trafficking. The work being done to prevent sex trafficking and to rescue victims will be covered.
