MONROE — The annual Halloween parade on the Square will take place at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 If you’d like to be in the parade, call Main Street Monroe at 608-328-4023 before 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. Participants should gather on the south side of the parking lot where the parking ramp used to be. 

Trunk or Treat will take place 5 p.m., following the parade, and last until around 6:30. That event will be on the west and south side, with the entrance on the west. All ghouls, goblins and their parents are reminded to use crosswalks. 

Trick-or-Treat hours are 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the City of Monroe.
