Jeanne Golz and Daniel Golz, Monroe, announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie, to Michael Vander Loop. Mike is the son of Daniel and Bobbie Vander Loop, Kimberly.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 Albany High School and 2009 University of Wisconsin-Plattevile graduate. She is employed as a lab technician at Covance in Madison.
The future groom is a 2001 Kimberly High School and a 2006 University of Wisconsin-Platteville graduate. He is in sales and operations with R. J. Marx in Appleton.
The couple will be married in a private family ceremony at The Country Chapel in Appleton on August 28. Following the ceremony a reception and dance will be held at Liberty Hall in Kimberly.
Valerie and Mike will be residing in Madison.
