MONROE - Green County Genealogical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 in the second-floor meeting room of the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.
The meeting will feature Christie Straight from Green County Historical Society, who will speak on the historically-correct Do-Ed dolls made in the late 1930s. The dolls were made by local residents Doris and Edwin Blair.
The event is open to the public. A potluck will follow the meeting. Members should bring a dish to pass. Beverage and table service will be provided.
