MONROE - "The 13th Wisconsin and the Search for Glory" will be the title of a talk given by Robert Ash, Rockford, Ill., when the Green County Genealogical Society meets at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, in the upper level of the Monroe Public Library.
Robert E. Ash, a genealogist and family historian, writes a regular column for Footprints, the Winnebago and Boone Counties Genealogical Society newsletter. His columns are also published from time to time in other genealogy publications.
Ash is president of the Rock River Valley Civil War Round Table. The Round Table meets monthly for the education of members and other persons interested in U.S. Civil War history.
