MONROE - First Baptist Church, 853 31st Ave., will host a Thanksgiving service and dinner on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Morning service starts at 10:45 a.m. A free community Thanksgiving dinner will follow the service and will include an all you-can-eat turkey and ham buffet.

The event is open to the public. A valet service will be available for the elderly and the handicapped at the church front door.
