MONROE - The Foster Care unit of Green County Human Services will hold the annual Fill the Trailer event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Oct. 28 at Shopko, 405 W. 8th St. They are seeking donations for foster children and families.
Suggested donation items include: Educational games, books and toys for elementary age children; gift cards for teenagers; size three and up diapers and pull-ups; wipes; cleaning supplies such as disinfecting wipes and sprays, paper towels; laundry detergent; kid and adult size socks and underwear; baby-proofing items; bottles and sippy cups; and towels.
Every donation gets a ticket for free admission for two to the "Gifts That Foster Hope" event Nov. 11.
