DARLINGTON - The Darlington High School Theater Department will perform "Leaving Iowa," a comedy about family vacations, from today, March 30 through Sunday, April 1 at the high school, 11838 Center Hill Road.

The comedy centers around Don, who after missing his father's funeral three years earlier, feels compelled to return his father's ashes to his boyhood home. After discovering the family homestead has been replaced by a grocery store, Don is faced with a dilemma - What can he possibly do with his father's ashes?

Advance tickets may be purchased for $6 by calling the Darlington High School Office at (608) 776-4001 or $8 at the door the day of the show. The performance times are 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

The cast and crew of "Leaving Iowa" are dedicating this year's production to the memory of Army Spc. Jakob Roelli and will be donating $1 from every ticket sold to the Veterans' Memorial in his honor.
