Clinic to hold ‘Art of Healing’ gallery talk, tour

“Kate” by Adria Kaufman will be on display with several other works during the “Art of Healing” reception Thursday, Nov. 7 at Monroe Clinic Hospital Lobby.

MONROE — Monroe Clinic will host an art reception featuring Adria Kaufman on Thursday, Nov. 7. Kaufman is an accomplished artist from Madison. Her work is about highlighting the quick, immediate impressions gathered when first meeting someone. 

The talk and tour will take place in the Monroe Clinic Hospital Lobby beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a Gallery Talk at 5:15 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. 

Monroe Clinic’s “Art of Healing” exhibit provides patients and visitors with an enriched visual experience proven to advance healing through opportunities for reflection and artistic interpretation. The art will be on display until Feb. 12. 

Since 2013, Monroe Clinic and the Monroe Clinic & Hospital Foundation have partnered with the Monroe Art Center to provide patients, visitors and staff with quarterly exhibitions in the Hospital building.
