LENA — CDK Angus invites the public to “See What’s Behind the Gate” on Saturday, November 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Lena.

This free, family-friendly event will give visitors an opportunity to learn where their food comes from through cattle demonstrations, agricultural education, farm equipment displays, local vendors, and more.

Visitors will also be able to learn about animal health, veterinary care and forage and pasture management. There will be local businesses and professional agricultural vendors, a farm equipment display, live music and food. There will be designated parking and hay rides provided to enter the farm.

“We want families to see firsthand what goes into raising the food they put on their tables,” said Chad Bicker of CDK Angus. “It takes a lot of care, hard work and a true passion for what we do. This is our opportunity to open the gates, answer questions and share that experience.

CDK Angus is located at 2961 N. Rink Road just outside of Lena. Learn more at www.cdkangus.com.
