MONROE - The Monroe Moose Lodge will host a benefit breakfast for the Green County Historical Society Sunday from 8 a.m. until noon at the Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave.
Proceeds from the all-you-can-eat meal will be put toward the fifth and last phase of renovating all of the stained glass windows at the museum.
In addition, GCHS is holding a silent auction on their Facebook page to auction off a wooden Blumer products box and a 1940 Cheese Days hat. The online auction will end at 8 p.m. Saturday and continue at the breakfast until 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
GCHS will also have a few pens and pencils with local advertising for $1 each and a few items available for a donation to the Society.
