Merlyn and Betty Barker, Lena, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on April 16. They celebrated earlier with a trip to Hawaii and will have a family get-together at a later date.
Barker and Betty Marty were wed April 16, 1950, at the Orangeville United Methodist Church. Merlyn is retired after 30 years of driving bus for Orangevllle School District.
They have four daughters: Dianna (James) Setterstrom, Orangeville; Linda (Craig) Montgomery, Monroe; Kathy (James) Matzke, Monroe; and Vickie (Tim) Wedig, McConnell. They have nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
