Hello Green County! This is Miah Roth, your 2023 Green County Fairest of the Fair! I would like to invite you all to the fair this July 19th-23rd!
This years theme is “Travel the World — Passport”. We’ve got a lot of event planned this year!
Wednesday, July 19, is Military Appreciation Day. From 4-6 p.m., we have our Veteran’s Only Dinner held in the Hospitality Tent. Later, at 7 p.m., we have the Green County Bulls & Barrels in the grandstands. Finally, we will have a DJ in the entertainment tent from 7-11 p.m.
Thursday, July 20, is Educator’s Appreciation Day. At 6:30 p.m., we have the Badger State Tractor/Truck Pull in the grandstands. We will also have the DJ in the entertainment tent from 7-11 p.m.
Friday, July 21, is First Responders Appreciation Day. Friday is also Special Needs Day. All rides and parking will be free for Special Needs! This warms my heart knowing that I will be going into the Special Education Field! At 6:30 p.m., we have the SW Wisconsin ATV/ Garden Tractor Pullers and the Green County Local Truck & Tractor Pull. Both events will be held in the grandstands.
Saturday, July 22, is Kid’s Day. All kids 11 & under have free admission until 1:30 p.m. From 4-6 p.m., we have the SWIRA Dirt Bike & 4-Wheeler Races in the grandstands. Finally, Eli Alger & The Faster Horses will be in the entertainment tent at 8 p.m.
Sunday, July 23, is Pioneer Day and the last day of the Green County Fair. Since it will be our last day, there will only be a $5 admission fee for people ages 65 and up. At 2 p.m., we have the Brew City All-Star Heavyweight Wresting in the Mayer Transport Show Barn. Finally, the Demolition Derby will be held at 5 p.m. in the grandstands.
We will have many vendors, exhibits, and other royalty at the fair! I can’t wait for the fair to start, and I hope to see you all there!
